Music therapy is an evidence-based clinical profession in which a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC) uses music is used to address individual goals. I am a master's level board-certified music and have been practicing since 2018. I currently provide contracted music therapy services in the Knoxville area. I partner with non-profit organizations to provide group services and also contract with families to provide individual music therapy services. Free Community Groups

Music Therapy Groups at the MDC Gateway
This community group is sponsored by Hope in the Hills and available to anyone in the recovery community to provide support and connection. Groups take place every Wednesday, 1pm-2pm, at the Gateway. No registration required. More info here.


The Cole Center's Therapeutic Singing for Parkinson's Patients
This group is open to anyone living with Parkinson's disease or a related movement disorder. Family members and care partners are welcome to join, and no prior music experience is required! More info here.

Music Therapy Groups in Memory Care
Music therapy provides safe and fun experience for those living with dementia, and can improve mood, increase movement, and contribute to emotional and social wellbeing. I offer groups for those in the early stages and more progressed stages ntimea, ogression.
Workshops for Kids
I love to provide group music therapy for kids of all ages. and have experience working with students with physical and intellectual disabilities, autism, and past histories of family trauma. Music therapy can be an inclusive and fun experience that nurtures physical, emotional, and social development while also offering opportunities for agency and creative self-expression.
Individual Music Therapy
Individual sessions allow more specific, individual goals to be addressed and allows for more specificity in client-preferred music. I currently offer individual sessions within residential and medical facilities and clients' homes, when determined appropriate. My current focus is dementia, stroke, and hospice care, although I am flexible in the populations I serve. New clients are established on a case-by-case basis.
Educational Presentations
Interested in learning more about music therapy and research-backed uses of music to support healthin? I offer interactive educational presentations, adaptable for a variety of audiences, that can provide information about the music therapy profession and practical suggestions for using music to support health and wellbeing across the lifespan. Whether you are a college professor, clinical professional, or community organizer, I would be happy to collaborate on what a meaningful presentation may look like for your group.
Music Therapy Groups and Substance Use Disorders
I provide group music therapy in inpatient treatment programs for substance use disorders. Music therapy can reduce stress and offer opportunities for verbal processing, social interaction, and emotional regulation. MT groups combine group discussion, inclusive music-making, and mental health education.
Past Experience
Prior professional experience includes working individually with elementary and middle school students with documented disabilities in the public school system to address specific educational goals.

I completed a 1200-hour medical internship which included inpatient psych, cancer support, general adult inpatient, pediatric inpatient, NICU (earning the NICU-MT certification), and NACU (supporting infants experiencing withdrawal). My graduate clinical work supported marginalized communities and my thesis research explored the need for for LGBTQ+ education in music therapy.​
